What Quotidia is

A daily language-learning website with vocabulary review and word puzzles. It is provided free of charge, as-is, by an individual in the United Kingdom. It is not a company, and it is not a certified educational provider.

Your account

• One account per person. Keep your password to yourself.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us if you think someone else has got into it.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract the puzzles, word lists or any other content
• Create accounts automatically, or in numbers
• Attempt to reach other people's data, or parts of the service not meant for you
• Probe, load-test or attack the service
• Republish or resell Quotidia's original content
• Use it for anything unlawful

Accounts doing any of the above can be suspended or removed without notice. For a free service run by one person, that's the only practical remedy.

Two of those are also enforced by the app rather than left to good faith: repeated failed sign-ins, and repeated sign-ups from the same place, are limited. Nothing is locked and no account is disabled — the attempts are refused for a few minutes and then allowed again. If you have simply forgotten which password you used, wait a moment and try again, or use the reset link. What is recorded while that happens is set out in the privacy notice.

Accuracy

The language content is prepared carefully and reviewed, but it is written by a small number of people and will contain mistakes. It is not a substitute for a teacher, a dictionary or a qualified translator, and it should not be relied on where accuracy matters — legal, medical or professional contexts included.

If you spot an error, the support form inside the app goes straight to the person who can fix it, and corrections are welcome.

Availability

Quotidia may be unavailable, may change, and may stop entirely. There is no uptime commitment. Where practical, notice will be given before anything is shut down, and you can delete your data yourself at any time.

Payment

Quotidia is free and there are no paid features. Donations are voluntary, buy nothing, and are not refundable — they support the running costs and confer no rights or access. If a paid tier is ever introduced, these terms will be updated first and nothing already free will be taken away from existing accounts.

Intellectual property

Set out separately on the intellectual property page. In brief: Quotidia's own code, written content and branding belong to its author; third-party language data remains under its own licences, listed on the credits page.

Liability

Quotidia is provided without warranty. To the extent the law allows, its author is not liable for loss arising from using it — including lost progress, lost data or anything resulting from relying on the language content. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, because it cannot.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Ending it

You can stop using Quotidia and delete your account whenever you like. Your account may be removed if these terms are broken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of your local mandatory consumer law.
